DOWNLOADS - V - CD'S .. It takes about 48 hours to process the orders due to the various time zones around the world. The charges are made in US$.  We have invested considerable amount of money in our new DOWNLOAD system ... we did this because IN SOME CASES,  the CD's were taking some weeks to be delivered to our customers ... unfortunately the postal service is often S-L-O-W ... but the DOWNLOAD system is fast and efficient.   We hope you think our investment was worthwhile! Now that we have perfected the DOWNLOAD system YOU will find that it is not necessary to send out CD's ... Hi Bruce,   Received the study boat plans last Wednesday so they arrived very quickly, very impressed with the amount , quality and detail of the information provided.  I am planning for my retirement in a few  years and obviously I am thinking of building a boat. My thoughts originally were wood/epoxy but after reviewing the supplied information I am thinking a steel kit would be a better way to go.  It just means I need to acquire some new skills which will not be a problem.  What you can help me with is an indicative  A$ cost of a steel kit and boat plans for the Euro 1000 delivered to Hobart. today and have to admit I am more than happy with the content. Your HUGE e-BOOK is a great improvement on the on I purchased previously and even after a cursory glance through it I would recommend it to any one considering building there own boat. If I can resolve the issues with my building site I will follow the advise you gave me previously to build the TY420 hull and for deck, then modifying the superstructure to my requirements (more or less aft cabin as per one of the photos on the study boat plans but with the addition of forward sloping windows in the pilot house.) 

This brings me to my two remaining questions can the TY420 be built in aluminum ( YES ) Regards  Thornley Barnett

Hi Bruce,  Yes, I’ve received your DOWNLOAD  - on the 20th of December and I was  able  to examine it totally. I  have already had Adobe Reader in my pc and it worked with your files. It seems to me that the DOWNLOAD gives a complete picture of  your work, much better than on the Internet & about the Voyager 495, it’s very well  specified.

If  I have the  right  to make a criticism, I think that there are too many pictures of construction of 495, but this is only my little opinion.  Soon I’ll place you an order for the DOWNLOAD or on CD of Euro 12, I and my wife (she don’t like sail boats) have to decide what boat is the best for us. with my compliments for your designs,   Regards Angelo

Hi Bruce, Thanks for writing.  I was able to open all the files on the DOWNLOAD or on CD -  I had the CATALOG printed at a local UPS store ( My printer is far to slow to print that many sheets). I have printed out some of the sheets for review, both on the home printer and on the plotter at work ("D" size sheets). I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0, as well as AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop, so I did not need to install the software on my own computer. Thank you very much. Respectfully, Shapley R. Hunter

Hi Bruce,  YES ... I was able to open any file. No I did not need to install the software as I already have installed AutoCAD which has a viewer.  In general I was quite happy with the packaged product and what you are providing is OK. Really, the DOWNLOAD or on CD 's were great,  Personally, and on lighter side, since first speaking to you we have moved along a bit. We were originally looking at the 75ft sailing yacht and then thought we would move to a more spacious motor yacht. The study plan could include: plate sizes, frame sizes, a sample inventory with weights etc, and anything else you may feel is helpful...( BRUCE SAYS ... Our current study boat plans DO include all this information.)   Thank you Sir.  Regards Eric
