ROBERTS 35 - Fiberglass or MC Steel
This design is a well proven world cruiser as OVER 200 are currently sailing in different parts of the world and the reports are excellent. It can be rigged as a cutter or ketch and different layouts are available.

You can build the Roberts 35 in either Round Bilge Fibreglass or in Multi Chine Steel or Aluminium . The complete plans package include many sheets of large-scale drawings, plus full-size patterns for the hull, deck and cabin top beams, etc.

	ROBERTS 35 Center cockpit Trunk cabin version. There are several versions of this boat within the same set of plans - all you have to do is decide which material you wish to use to build your Roberts 35. Options include Aft cabin (as shown here) or aft cockpit (see below) also there is a flush deck version. Other alternatives include ketch or cutter rigs remember all these options come in the one plan.

I have recently purchased a Roberts 35A aft cabin centre cockpit, it was built in 1980 in south Australia .it has been very well looked after and is in excellent condition. I have looked at a lot of boats on the internet but have always liked the Roberts. I plan to sail it to Pluket and live on it. I am very pleased with the boat as it is my first yacht. 	ROBERTS 35 Fiberglass or MC Steel This attractive fore cabin shows 'ceiling planking' as the method of lining the interior of the hull.
	ROBERTS 35 Fiberglass or MC Steel Here we see the construction of the deck and cabin male mold which consists of deck and cabin top frames and battens covered with either thin inexpensive plywood or hard-board followed by the inner fiberglass laminate, either foam or balsa core is then installed and finally the outer layers of fiberglass are laminated in place.
