ABOVE: Using the full size patterns I laid out the frames shapes on a steel base. RIGHT: Here you see the frames set up and some of the stringers installed.
The transom is left off at this stage.
Here you see the plating being installed .. note the wide planing strake on the chine ... that helps this boat get up and go !
Here you see the plating being installed in the area of the bow.
Plating completed, the hull is now upright and have been grit blasted and primed. Rubbing strip is also installed.
General view of the hull and some of the superstructure installed ... looks a bit 'boxy' until windows are cut out and other trim added.
