REVIEWS FROM CUSTOMERS:

Bruce,

Thank you for your email … I’m still in the process of reading your book.  So far, I have enjoyed reading about the history of the Spray and Capt Joshua Slocum’s amazing trek around the world, as well as the stories of those who have gone before me.  The number of replica’s you’ve documented and their own stories are an amazing read in themselves … it’s only serving to fan the flames of my desire to build my own spray!

Again, thank you for the book and for the follow up email.  Look forward to hearing from you.

David

Hi,

I read your Build your own Spray e-book and found it very informative and interesting. it gave me an idea and motive to start preparations to plan my own spray construction. thank you very much ,I will be in touch regarding which plan I will be purchasing.

Thank you again  George Phillips

Greetings Bruce,
I think the e-book “Build Your Own Spray” is great. I printed it out and read it cover to cover. Most of my questions were answered. However, seeing all the nice pictures of various Sprays in all sizes and layouts made me think about what I want
.

One thing I found missing is a glossary, which explains the various nautical terms in non-nautical language. I do have a fair bit of sailing experience, however, some of the terms were hard for me to understand, if only because I am from a non-(Australian-)English-speaking background. And being nautical terms, many of these may not be found in a normal dictionary. I’m guessing others may have similar problems. BRUCE'S NOTE ... POINT TAKEN ... we have now added a Glossary of boating terms.
Cheers,  Michiel F Vandenbroek.

Dear Bruce,
Regards BUILD YOUR OWN SPRAY CD Excellent,
thanks for the many ideas included into the cd, even though I haven’t yet had time to review it thoroughly. Congratulations. Best regards,  Gianluigi

Hello Bruce,

This wednesday I received your book with the two CD's rom, all in perfect conditions. I started to reed it as soon as I got it and immediately realized that the book was exactly what I was expecting. I’m very happy about that although I have a lot of job to do and a lot to learn before starting to build the boat.

I appreciate your dedication and wishes and I`ll keep you informed about the growth of my project.

Best regards and good sailing!!!  Alberto

Hi,

Thanks for the e-book. Received it the day before yesterday, and I have roughly skimmed it using the auto scroll as informed in the introductory letter. I like the following letter. It makes it a bit more personal receiving a book with authors notes:). And the auto scroll note was great info.

The content of the book is great though!  All the descriptions, histories and references to Slocum is great (I have his book - on my book shelf - and I must soon read it again).

Chapter 5 I ran through quite quickly. All the pics from Nina & Robs Centennial 38 I have done on their homepage (which I find very informative too).   Thanks for the book!  Thanks for asking for comments as well, and all the info re to handling and expediting the order.

Regards,  Mikkel
