The cockpit extends from inside the 'dog house' with 5 ft sitting headroom though to near the transom as shown.  Engine is under the dog house. Below is all one level sole (floor) the up the steps into the forward end of the dog house and into the cockpit.  It is possible to have a variety of interior layouts for this design ... that is what the 'CUSTOM' is all about ... SAFETY SKEG IS AVAILABLE ON THIS BOAT.
The Roberts safety skeg is designed to take the best features from the LONG FIN / SKEG combination and add a SAFETY FACTOR.  Many of you may be aware that skegs in general are vulnerable to damage so here is our answer to this problem. EMAIL Bruce to more details of this development.

Hello Bruce,  hope you had a pleasant holiday season.  We have our VOYAGER DS 655 boat plans and they look great. John and I are both very pleased and excited to get moving.   Thank-you Bruce for drawing our custom boat plans.
